C-10 Title I Supplemental Educational Services Contract
Issue/Rationale
Supplemental Education Services (after school/saturday tutoring) are provided to eligible students in a Title I School designated as "A School in Need of Improvement" based upon NCLB AYP reports. Services for tutoring are provided by outside vendors (Providers) approved by the state of Florida. The School District enters into a contract each school year with the outside vendors. Supplemental Education Services are a requirment of the "No Child Left Behind" legislation.
Recommended Action
Approve the Title I Supplemental Educational Services Contract.
